If you are a publisher or author and would like The Reading Salon to review one of your books, please email us at thereadingsalon[at]gmail[dot]com.
While we do enjoy reading a variety of books, this blog focuses purely on young adult literature. If your book is a young adult work, we would be more than happy to read and review it! However, self-published works will be considered on a case by case basis. We will not read unpublished works. We prefer hard copies of the book, but electronic copies will also be accepted.
Our reviews will contain:
- Cover art
- Title and author
- Publisher and publication date
- Summary (taken from Goodreads, Amazon, or Barnes and Noble)
- Rating from our rating system
- Additional information, if requested
- HONESTY
If you would like the review published on a particular date, please let us know. We will do our best to accommodate your wishes, but please give us ample time to read and review!
Finally, please remember that reviews are subjective. There will be some books we like and others we don’t, and our reviews will reflect that. We know that some people will disagree with our reviews, but please do not post negative or vulgar comments attacking our opinions. Our thoughts and feelings about a book are exactly that: our own. Please keep that in mind when you post a comment. All derogatory comments will be deleted.
Author Interviews, Giveaways, and Blog Tours
The Reading Salon would be happy to host blog tours, giveaways, and author interviews! Please e-mail us if you are interested!
For author interviews, if we have not previously reviewed a work by the author, then please provide us the work and some time to read it before the interview.
